The Key AccountExecutive is a field-based position focused on selling Diagnostic Imagingproducts into hospitals, imaging centers, radiation oncology, etc. This roleserves as the primary contact for our customers as they investigate theacquisition of Siemens Medical Solutions products and services. This is anexcellent opportunity for an individual that is highly competitive, desires topincome, works well in a team-selling environment and strives to win and besuccessful. Our products are industry and clinically recognized as being thebest for both patient care and providers. We are searching for top salesprofessionals looking to build their own franchise and realize virtuallyuncapped earnings potential.

Territory: Raleigh, Cary, or Charlotte North Carolina

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating relationships with key clinicalthought leaders and administrative C level officers.
  • Generating proposals, preparing salesquotations, planning customer meetings and demonstrating equipmentcapabilities.
  • Achieving business objectives for assignedterritory.
  • Guiding the development and execution ofstrategic account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals andbudgets.
  • Developing, building and cultivating long-termrelationships with key management within the customer organization
  • Communicating current market intelligence tovarious decision makers within each account.
  • Assisting management in devising sales plans andstrategies, develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for product saleschannels.
  • Leading territory team reviews and updates of accountplan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity.


Requiredskills to have for the success of this role

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree,where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience selling capital equipmentinto hospitals.
  • Consultative approach to customer withexperience developing and closing large contracts.
  • Experience carrying large quotas and workingwith long sales cycles as well as demonstrated success at meeting and exceedingthose quotas.
  • Must have experience working with sales quotas,forecasting.


PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Knowledge ofdiagnostic imaging products and systems applications

• Hospital consultativeservices experience strong preference

• An extensive knowledgeof the assigned major (corporate) customer

• Budget processes asthey apply to customer buying decisions
