The LaboratoryTechnician position in Standards Manufacturing formulates, and tests allControl System materials for Centaur and Atellica assays produced in WalpoleManufacturing Facility.

This position includesthe handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (DrugEnforcement Agency) controlled materials.

This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Performance of MFGformulation protocols
  • Performance of QC testing protocols (Instrument proficiency, MFG and QC protocols)
  • Data Review, batch record review
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Foster Team Environment
  • Calibration and Maintenance of Lab Equipment
  • Lab Duties as required
  • Basic Understanding of SAP
  • Knowledge of and compliance with ISO, GMP, QSR
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent laboratory technique.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
  • Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check.
