Purpose of Role

To ensure theprovision of a first-class Managed Equipment Service in accordance with theterms and conditions of the respective contract, the needs of the customer andSiemens core values. The service must beprovided in accordance with the key performance indicators or other definedmeasures with the objective of achieving consistently high customer and staffsatisfaction results and maximising financial performance according to agreed projectagreement.


Local internalcontacts will include the Operations Manager, Commercial Project Manager andother members of the immediate MES team; in addition, there will be the need tointerface with other Siemens Healthineers employees and management at alllevels at various locations.

External contacts willinclude clinicians, staff and management from the hospital and suppliers.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage the plannedmaintenance and reactive repair activity to successfully fulfil the performancecriteria defined in the respective contract Including following up on anyAfterhours calls

• Point of escalationfor staff to ensure maximum utilization of the available resources such thatall contractual commitments are satisfactorily achieved. Ensuring thatequipment of critical importance to the hospital is receiving priorityattention.

• Prepare the reportingrequired for the MES Governance Committees.

• Facilitate theprocurement process by scheduling the customer's Clinical User Groups and ensuretimelines are met for site-based procurement tasks.

• Actively seek andinitiate efficiencies and operational process improvements.

• Ensure all complaints/commendationsare appropriately logged and actioned as mandated by the Business.

• Project Management of the equipmentreplacement program

• Maintain relationships with clinicians,staff and management, of the respective hospitals and/or the consortiums.

  • Escalation contact for asset managementsystem.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

• 3-5 years of experience of projectmanaging contracts relating to projects/service-based operations preferablywithin a medical equipment or hospital environment.

• Ability to Multitask and resolve issuesquickly

• Good commercial/financial awareness.

• A proactive approach to servicedelivery/management.

• A team player with good interpersonalskills.

• Good communication skills both verbaland written, with the ability to deal with customers and staff at all levels.

• Professional, report writing skills.

• Strong computer literacy and knowledgeas it relates to Office software and bespoke service management packages.

• Preferably educated to degree level withextensive post qualification work experience within a service and/or project-basedenvironment.

• Preferred familiarity with Siemens Healthineersprocesses and systems.

  • Preferred PMP designation.
