Due to growth, we are adding a Supply Chain Data Analyst to the order management unit who ensures our vast supplier community provides critical materials on time for our production team at our manufacturing campus in beautiful Sacramento, California

What you will be doing:

Own the data management process of analyzing raw and highly complex data from SAP using sophisticated excel skills.

Develop new reports, analyze existing reports, and analyze key performance indicators.

Handles Siemens supplier- buyer platform tool as a super user.

Bring to bear deep understanding of supply chain principles and appropriate analytics techniques to identify bottlenecks and critical control points in Siemens's supply chain.

Collaborate with Materials Managers, Engineers, and Project Managers to understand Supply chain problems and find opportunities for improvement.

Translate business problems into manageable analytics projects and lead execution across cross-functional teams.

Ensure continuous supply of required and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.

Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and engineering departments to seek solutions to material supply issues.

Proactively updates suppliers when delivery dates are at risk and evaluates opportunities to improve deliveries.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

2 to 5 years of direct experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial, Manufacturing, or Engineering

Proficient MS Excel skills, MS Office products.

Tenacious and communicative driver who can raise critical issues for team problem solving
